The following hotels and villas in Dominica are reviewed on this page: [Fort Young Hotel] [Roseau Valley Hotel]

Generally acknowledged to be the first home of the Carib indigenous people from where the Caribbean region takes its name, Dominica is probably the most unspoilt of all the Caribbean islands. If your interest is in the more adventurous holidays, whether it be exploring the rainforest (Dominica has the only World Heritage site in the region) to diving off the coral reefs or even whale watching from a small launch, then this is the place for you. Situated just south of Guadeloupe, a vacation here can be combined with a stay on the more touristy /beach holiday destinations of Antigua or St Lucia. No direct flights from Europe but LIAT connect from the main European and USA gateway islands.

Fort Young Hotel
With 53 guest rooms and suites, both the tourist and the business traveler visiting Roseau, the island's capital, use the Fort Young. Special interest packages for scuba divers and trail hikers (using the services of a local adventure company are available through the hotel.
Previous visitors are enthusiastic - from the quality of the diving, through the excellence of the service and even the taste of the coffee in the restaurant.  Details from the hotel's website, click here...
