The following hotels and villas in the Cayman Islands are reviewed on this page: [Hyatt Regency] [Little Cayman Beach Resort]

The Cayman Islands, 450 miles due south of Miami, are one of the only four British Crown Colonies remaining in the Caribbean region. They consist of 3 islands - Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. Because they are one of the world's largest offshore financial centers, as many visitors go there on business as go as vacationers. The main attraction for the sports minded is the world-famous diving sites or 'walls' off the islands. Grand Cayman, whose capital Georgetown has a distinctly British feel, holds 90% of the population, all the best beaches (and therefore hotels).

Hyatt Regency
The hotel, occupying a spacious 90-acre site facing Seven Mile Beach, consists of a collection of British colonial style buildings surrounded by lush gardens. As well as a total of 289 rooms and suites, the resort boasts some of the most spectacular villas to be found in the Caribbean. To go to the hotel's website, click here...

Little Cayman Beach Resort
This small hotel (only 20 oceanfront and pool-facing rooms) is a diver's and gamefisher's paradise being situated on Little Cayman, an island only 20 minutes by air from Grand Cayman and yet only 11 miles long and 1 mile wide. Columbus discovered the island in 1503 and in more recent times the scuba diving fraternity have voted its Bloody Bay Wall one of the top 3 diving sites in the world.
