Garden Bay Beach Hotel]
Crowned "The
island of turtle doves" Tortola has many coves, beaches and bays.
Mount Sage National Park boasts a lush rain forest located at its
highest point of 1,780 ft. Anegada, rising only 28 ft. above sea level
is more famous for its underwater sights as it has most of the
shipwrecks found anywhere in the Caribbean. On Beef Island, the one and
only toll bridge was built in 1966 and was dedicated by Queen Elizabeth.
On salt island the salt making tradition is kept alive by Herman and
Norwell. The old method of panning and drying the salt is still used.
The desert-like Dead Chest, just off the north shore, is where pirate
Blackbeard is said to have left 15 men who wanted to commit mutiny with
only one bottle of rum.

***Reviews***
It's a perfectly comfortable, and economical, place to park yourself
when visiting Tortola. It's located right in the middle of Cane
Garden Bay, and is right on the water. Friendly staff and all the amenities
necessary for a comfortable stay. The rooms are air-conditioned,
there is a really nice restaurant/bar downstairs, and its right next
door to many other restaurants and bar (including Quitos, the best place
for music on Tortola. I can't imagine a better place to stay
anywhere on the island if you'd rather spend your money in having a good
time rather than in your sleeping arrangements. Review by MT.
