The following hotels and villas in Antigua and Barbuda are reviewed on this page:

[Galley Bay] [Blue Waters] [Curtain Bluff] [The Inn at English Harbour] [K Club]

Antigua (and its small sister, Barbuda) is blessed with some of the best beaches in the Caribbean - allegedly 365 - one for every day of the year. The island is the first destination of transatlantic flights from Europe and very often the jumping-off point for flights and yacht cruises to the smaller islands of the northern Caribbean. The picturesque and historic English Harbour in the south-east was a naval base in Nelson's time, and is the center for Antigua's famous sailing week in April each year.

Galley Bay

Totally redeveloped since 1996, this all-inclusive resort is situated 4 miles from St Johns and 20 minutes from the airport. 61 guest rooms many of them in them palm-thatched 'gaugin' cottages in the Polynesian style. The resort is flanked by a lagoon and a bird sanctuary and is situated in the west of the island on its own ¾ mile stretch of brilliant white sand . To go to the Galley Bay website, click here...
